WEIYADI successfully engineered and implemented a state-of-the-art lighting system for a series of outdoor pickleball courts.
The primary objective was to eliminate the limitations of daylight hours, providing players with a superior, consistently well-lit playing
environment for evening games and tournaments. The solution involved a strategic installation of high-efficiency LED floodlights,
resulting in enhanced visibility, increased court utilization, and elevated player experience.
The Challenge of Pickleball Court Lighting Solution
As pickleball’s popularity surges, the demand for extended playing hours grows. The existing conditions at the WEIYADI courts lacked adequate
illumination for safe and competitive play after sunset. The challenge was to design a system that would:
· Provide uniform, glare-free lighting across the entire court surface.
· Ensure excellent ball visibility and player safety.
· Offer an energy-efficient and cost-effective operational solution.
· Minimize light spillage to be a good neighbor to the surrounding community.
Our team delivered a custom-engineered lighting plan that perfectly balances performance with efficiency.
The core of the solution was the strategic deployment of high-performance 200W LED floodlights.

· Fixtures per Court: 12 units of 200W LED Floodlights
· Lighting Technology: Advanced LED chips offering high lumens per watt, exceptional color rendering, and a long operational lifespan.
· Precision Placement: The 12 fixtures were strategically positioned and angled on surrounding poles to achieve optimal light distribution.
This careful planning ensures there are no dark spots or overly bright hotspots on the playing surface.
· Glare Control: Specified optics within the floodlights direct the light precisely onto the court, minimizing glare for players and reducing unwanted light pollution
